We have retired from puppetry after 9 years in the ministry.
We were in the ministry from 1995-2003. This page is our team's legacy.
I left this page here so you could get some ideas of the effort we put into our ministry.
If you are new to ministry, please visit the Starting a Puppet Ministry link above.

Other Teams
Our Team
Our team was formed in 1996. We average between 10-15 members ranging in age from 4th grade to seniors in high school. Our goal was to establish our puppet team as a support ministry for our church and other churches in our area. We participate in activities such as Vacation Bible School, Backyard Bible Clubs, Sunday School, mission trips, and other special emphasis occasions. In 1997, we did a workshop, sponsored by the WMU, for high school youth on using puppets on mission trips.
Our Team at the Dallas One Way Street Festival in 1998. The puppet you see was made using a pattern from Puppet Patterns by Puppets with Personality. These puppets are easier to work with because they are smaller and more flexible (and a lot less expensive).

One of our team members, Brian (the guy on the left in the first picture below), got to go on tour with Puppet Productions for 2 1/2 months doing workshops in many states during the summer of 1999. He wrote the "Samaritan Dude", "Jonah", "Zacchaeus", and "Daniel" scripts with some input from other team members.

In 1997, we were given an opportunity to record introductions for the Saturday Morning line-up at KCBI in Arlington, Texas. Gary (in the white t-shirt) is a DJ there and is also one of our puppet team leaders. KCBI is one of the top Christian radio stations in Texas and Oklahoma.
This is the team that performed The Samaritan Dude in 1997 at the Dallas One Way Street Festival.
This is our 2001 team. This is probably the most members we have had. Two of our original kids have moved on to college and many new 4th and 5th graders have joined. We won't lose any more to college until 2003. This gives us a good opportunity to strengthen our team.
